Our story

A community that climbs together

Lowveld Hiking Adventures grew out of a simple love for the mountains that cradle Barberton. We are a welcoming hiking and wellness community bringing people of every background onto the trail together.

The Makhonjwa Mountains, also known as the Barberton Greenstone Belt, hold some of the oldest and best-preserved rock on the planet. Every hike we lead is a walk through deep time, big lowveld views, and the shared triumph of reaching the top.

Whether you are chasing your first summit or your fiftieth, our local guides keep it safe, social and unforgettable.
